Rorqual Doublet

Inspired by European doublets from the late 15th and early 16th centuries, the Rorqual Doublet stands out for its elegant silhouette, high collar, and decorative cutouts inspired by Renaissance clothing. The shoulders and hem of the garment are adorned with pinked edges, providing a refined finish while echoing the fashion of the period.
Crafted from a wool and viscose blend, this doublet offers excellent structure, beautiful suppleness, and great comfort. It is fully lined in ramie, a natural plant fiber prized for its breathability, durability, and moisture-wicking properties.
The closure is achieved using traditional aglet cords passed through hand-sewn eyelets, an artisanal finish that requires precision and skill. Every detail contributes to the garment's authenticity and durability.
Made in Quebec by L'atelier de la Crevette, the Rorqual Doublet is designed for enthusiasts of historically inspired clothing who seek quality construction and meticulous finishing.
